Welcome to the Staffordshire Motorsport Show which is the ultimate destination for car
enthusiasts and adrenaline junkies alike! Get ready for a jam-packed day of high-octane
excitement and entertainment.
The Event on Saturday will consist of scrutineering which will be held mid afternoon. In the
Evening we have a band, followed by music, with food & drink available, this is open to
all.
The event on Sunday combines a Rallyshow, Oval Zone and Trade Zone with Car show
meaning the crowds can be up close and personal with the cars and drivers all day long.
We will have a 2.8km demonstration stage with Rally Cars from all eras, Rally Cross, Cross-
country and Cross Cars, the event will run in accordance with the MSUK governing body
rules and regulations, under a Permit of Exemption.
An Oval Zone on the infield will feature disciplines including Stock Cars, Superlites, UK
Modified, Modstox and Hovercraft Racing. We also have an Auto-Test passenger ride so you
can feel the thrill and find out how to get involved in the very Grass roots of Motorsport.
During Sunday Lunch we have a Head 2 Head Gymkhana taking place in front of the main
Grandstand.
We are celebrating #RB25, 25 years since Richard Burns became World Drivers’ Champion,
the winning car will be on display along with members of his team from back in the day.
Attending, we have Colin McMaster who has photographed every Rally Car ever driven
around the World for McKlein, Jon Desborough & Martyn Spurrell who were also personal
friends of Richard’s. This along with some stunning Replica’s of cars he drove and backed by
the RB5 & RB320 Car Clubs should make this a very memorable day.
We will have some special guests too, we will name these as they confirm;
We have Gerry Johnston who was the DTV principal.
Another fantastic celebration is 40yrs since Group B cars last took to the stages in anger,
these beasts transformed the sport in so many ways and make Rallying the sport it is today,
we have some fantastic machinery lined up, not only to look at but to see on the Demo
Stage too.
A huge Trade area offering great views of the action, Fine Foods & Arts / Crafts,
Motorsport Exhibitors, Car Clubs, Show & Shine, Plus lots more…!
The price is £20.00 per head for spectators (£1.50 admin Fee added at checkout);
U16’s go free this also includes free on event parking,
so you can relax and enjoy the day without worrying about finding a spot for your car.
